Microsoft reveals most played Xbox 360 games of 2011

Microsoft revealed that Activision?s Call of Duty: Black Ops was the most-played Xbox 360 game of 2011.

Actually, the first three titles that topped the list were Call of Duty games, with Modern Warfare 3 following closely in second place despite its release merely two months before 2012 ? Modern Warfare 2 came in third.

Xbox 360-exclusive Halo Reach reached for fourth spot and EA?s Battlefield 3 booked no.5. Basically, more people logged on to Xbox Live to have their online shooting fix than anyone else, with the first five games in the most-played list being shooter titles. This adds substantial weight of validity to Hideo Kojima?s statements if you ask me.
